'Cause sometimes..

This has been the longest day ever.
I didn't have work or school today, but I did attend seminary.
I'm in a seminary methods class, so I went to a high school
to observe this morning. I will get to teach a class two times
in the near future. I'm just a tad nervous about that.
So other than that, Grant has been gone alllllll day.
Dang athletic training! But I'm glad he is experiencing
so much right now. He makes me proud each day.
I sure love him.
Since it's been a long day for me; cleaning, laundry, homework.
Blah.
I went to lds.org and loved what I found, so I'm sharing it with you.

'Cause sometimes you just need the little reminder.

 Happy weekend :)

Happy Sunny Sunday!

I know we haven't updated anyone for some time,
so I apologize and am now posting all the stuff that has happened since the last post!
We are getting into our school and work routines which are some what crazy,
but finally we have a day off tomorrow!
It has almost been 1 year since we first went to the Manti, UT temple together.
We went and stopped by Fred's Drive In for some yummy burgers & shakes!

The pictures below are from our 6 months of being married!
I thought Grant had to go to Athletic Training and would be gone
when I got back from class, but instead I came home to this post-it.
We fed the ducks, I think they wanted to eat us... I wish I had a good photo
of them trying to attack us. We played games, Grant made me a origami flower,
and then we had a candle light picnic dinner!

Yesterday was funnnnnnn. Maybe not.
I heard about some hot springs around Spanish fork so we
decided to hike to them. Normally you can drive up to it and then it's about
a 3 mile hike to the hot springs. Lucky us, the road was closed so we ended up hiking
16 MILES. Ughhhh we are so sore and sun burnt now. What we thought
would be a couple of hours took 5+ hours. Today we can't move. Never again...
We did happen to make some oreo cookies today for game night :)
Well folks that's it!
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. day tomorrow!
If you haven't yet seen Lee Daniel's The Butler movie, it's a good one for the holiday!

Back to school, Back to school...

Monday.
We go back to school on Monday. I am so not ready!
Sometimes I wish that the Christmas break would last much longer...
We have really enjoyed the time we were able to relax and spend together.
We also kept very busy during this break working a lot! Now we will see what the
new school semester brings. We are pretty sure that we will be busier than before, but all will be well.
