Happenings

2 more days of school!!
As of everything else that has been happening,
here are a few snap shots :)

I looked out my window and what did I see??
Popcorn!!
We have been doing awesome working out almost
every day- so this doesn't really relate to us,
BUT it's hilarious!
We went to Provo temple and did some sealings :)

 Friday was AWESOME weather!
The Lacrosse team played, so we went to that and
the food trucks were right outside our door...nice!

Here's our Saturday night dinner! We tried a new recipe- yum!
So far it's been a great week!

Weekend Fun

As you know this weekend was General Conference.
I loved every minute of it, even if I did fall asleep for 5 minutes. :)
Here is a recap of our weekend...
On Friday Mikki drove from Idaho so she and I ran around town.
Grant went to a job interview and then Lone Peak.
We are praying that he will get this job because it would work
amazing with his Spring class schedule and such.
Friday night we drove to Grant's mission reunion.
Sadly there weren't many people that he knew there.
Then we went to Los Hermano's delicious Mexican food
restaurant for dinner. After that we went to my mission reunion!
It was way better this year because a lot more people that I know are back.
On Saturday we watched the morning session of conference
at home and then got ready to go to the afternoon session at the
conference center.I love actually being there with everyone.
The Spirit is very strong.
We grabbed some dinner and watched a movie all together.
We also made homemade donuts!!
They were soooo yummy- thanks Mikki!
Today we had the traditional conference breakfast.
We watched all of conference again we also played some games.
I had a really great time this weekend.
Thanks for coming to hang out Mikki!
We will see you in a few weeks...
Now onto our last full week of classes!

 Delicious chocolate and maple donuts!

This picture is of Grant tying me into the bathroom...with ties....:P

Get Ready!

One of my favorite things that happens twice a year
is happening this weekend!
GENERAL CONFERENCE!!
I absolutely love to listen to our prophet's voice and
learn the things that the Lord would have me learn at this time.

We were lucky enough to get tickets for the Saturday
Afternoon session. We went last year to the conference
center at this time, so it will be wonderful to do it again.

I'm also excited because my best friend Mikki will be
coming to stay with us this weekend. Also school is
getting closer and closer to being over this semester.

So anyways, I hope you watch conference and enjoy
every minute of it. I know that I can't wait!

Here's a little something to
get you ready:

Life As We Know It

TIME
Yep that's what has been lacking lately.
We have been pretty busy with everything crazy going on.
I think I just wrote 4 papers in the last 2 days, but I'm super
pleased with myself because they are all final projects!!

We have about 3 weeks left of school, then we get a week
of finals and a few days off until Grant starts Spring classes.
I won't be taking classes because there aren't any available
for my major, but I will be working as much as possible.

So it hasn't all been work and no play, we have had
some fun lately though! My co-worker/ mission friend Allen
got married this past weekend. Also my trainer JoJo had her
bridal shower, she gets married April 4th! I'm now not the only
one married :) Here we have some pictures from the past few weeks:

Grant has decided he will become the Next Great Baker!
I had to teach a creative dance to 9-10 year old girls-
Balloon Dance it is!
This was a Throwback Thursday from my dad's Iraq
article in the Moses Lake Herald way back when.
 The beautiful bride-to-be my Sese!!
Friday I was able to spend the day watching this hunk work.
 Beautiful Sunny Saturday
At Allen's reception with my mission buddies!
The Twin's turned 15 on Monday!! I'm getting so old..
Here are the many faces of my adorable husband.
We have too much fun :D

We have had some crazy days, but in the end I'm so grateful.

Sunny Saturday

It was such a fabulous day.
We did end up running around some stores,
searching for wedding gifts for some friends.
Grant was super patient with me so I owed him some lunch.
Finally we got our grocery shopping done and
we made it home before 3 pm. yay.
The picture depicts some of my favorite things of this day:
leggings, my cute husband, homemade chimichangas,
and my new watch! So it's been a good Saturday.
:)
Tomorrow I teach Primary again, so hope that goes well!
Grant unfortunately has to work tomorrow...
But we will make it a great day and I hope you do too.

My Birthday

Happy Birthday to ME!
My family, husband, and friends know how
to make my day! I know I'm getting older when
my birthday just seems like another day.
Grant planned a whole day for me- it started
out with some yummy waffles :)
We went to SLC and found his cousin on
Temple Square so that was fun!
We grabbed some lunch then went to his
high school basketball teams State Champ game.
They won~ mainly because they are reallllly good.
That night we went out to dinner and had a relaxing night in.
I loved every minute being with my husband and it was the first
time since before the semester that we finally had all day to be
together. It was the best thing ever.

Saturday we drove past SLC and went to Cherise King's
mission homecoming. She just returned from Canada and we
hadn't seen her for a few years now. It was really fun to chat with her
again!

Sunday, being my official birthday day, I was sang to beautifully
by my lovely family on facetime. haha. Then Grant sang to me as
he lit the "toothpick candles" that we had. Whoops- no candles!
He made a delicious cake and we just enjoyed the rest of the night.
My present from Grant- a phone case :)
Then last night we had some fun and made
homemade fried chicken and mac n' cheese :)

Thank you all for your love and birthday wishes!
It was a great 24th birthday :)
